Youth Training

At Top Training, our Youth Athletic Development Program is built to grow with your child. 

We don’t just help kids get active—we teach them to move better, think stronger, and show up with confidence.

Our youth pathway is split into 3 progression-based levels:

Beginner (Ages 6–9)

We lay the foundation with fun, functional training that builds basic coordination, balance, and confidence. These sessions keep kids moving, engaged, and excited about fitness.


FOUNDATIONS FOR THE FUTURE

• Building a work ethic

• Inspiring atmosphere with positive coaching


KNOWLEDGE OF TRAINING

• Teaching young ones how to train and basic terminology
• Building the foundation for a healthy lifestyle


ATHLETIC DEVELOPMENT
• Developing motor skills and learning movement
• Establishing coordination and balance
• Age-appropriate strength and resistance training
• Speed, agility, core, and conditioning 

Intermediate (Ages 10–13)

This stage focuses on refining movement skills, improving speed, and introducing safe strength training. We help pre-teens bridge the gap between general activity and competitive sports.

• Continued character development

• Further building of work ethic

• Inspiring atmosphere with positive coaching


KNOWLEDGE OF TRAINING

• Teaching young athletes how to train harder and learning more advanced terminology
• Further establishing the foundation for a healthy lifestyle

ATHLETIC DEVELOPMENT
• Improved coordination, balance, and injury prevention
• Progressions in lifting techniques and conditioning
• Enhanced strength and functional movement
• Speed and agility with advanced plyometrics

Advanced (Ages 14–18)

Our high school athletes receive advanced coaching in power, agility, conditioning, and injury prevention. Many of our athletes in this group are preparing for varsity teams, college recruitment, or travel-level competition.

KNOWLEDGE OF TRAINING

• Teaching athletes how to train correctly and stay committed in and out of the facility

ATHLETIC DEVELOPMENT
• High-Level Plyometrics for Coordination and Balance Training
• Elite Footwork for Advanced Agility and Change of Direction
• Max Speed and Linear Acceleration
• Building Strength and Hypertrophy with Focus on Advanced Olympic Lifts
